Exceptional

I don't think I would come back to Sao Miguel and stay anywhere else! Staff is A++, drinks are great and I hope you have an empty stomach in the morning cause breakfast is huge! Super calm and out of the way location, a pretty 25 minutes the airport.

We will have to come back when it's warmer to try the outdoor pool!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Sensi Azores, and our experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by an incredibly friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the food. Each meal was delicious, showcasing a fantastic variety of local flavours and ingredients, prepared to perfection. It was a delightful culinary journey that added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit. The spa facilities at the hotel were exceptional. We particularly enjoyed the deep tissue massage, which was truly perfect. It was evident that the therapists are highly skilled and attentive, making it a very rejuvenating experience. The spa itself provided a serene and inviting atmosphere, contributing to a profound sense of relaxation and wellbeing. Overall, our stay was memorable and enjoyable. The combination of delicious food, excellent spa services, and the warmth and professionalism of the staff made our visit truly special. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for the experience. We look forward to returning and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway in the Azores.

The hotel of fairytales

I travel more for pleasure than anyone I know and I’ve never said this before- it was perfection. Of course that depends on what you want from your accommodation - it’s not party central - and that’s not what we were looking for - so perfect. - The best staff ever - everyone was warm, welcoming, helpful - they basically want to say “yes” to whatever you ask. Can we take our bottle of wine out to swim in the outdoor pool at 11pm? Sure let us bring you a lamp too… it’s honestly just the most wonderful place - Food: brilliant - Room: incredible and so clean - Views: sunset and Sangria? Perfect I would 100% only go back to Azores if I could stay here again as I know anywhere else would be a let down.

Nothing it was perfect. If there was something to improve further I guess more parking spaces.

The best hotel we've ever stayed at: Tastefully designed and welcoming retreat by the sea

From the moment we arrived we felt like we were transported to a magical paradise! SENSI is so well-designed from the beautiful architecture (we loved details like the lighting) to the delicious food in the restaurant. It is right off the main drag and easy to find. Plus, it's not far from sites likes Mosteiros, Ferreira, and Sete Cidades. When we came back from our excursions, we spent a lot of time in the sauna and pools. We enjoyed wonderful massages. We loved breakfast in the morning, which is included, where you are offered an array of breads, eggs, fruit, and specials. Every single person on the staff was cheerful and helpful and we felt right at home.

We don't have any complaints. We only wish we could stay longer.

Very stylish hotel, perfect rooms, view to the ocean, pool that is warm in a winter time also. Restaurant probably best in an island. But the main part is the stuff, they are amazing :)

Great location, in the countryside and quiet. Nice pool and spa area. Very tasty breakfast. Great architecture in which the old was integrated into the new in a modern way.

We would have liked a drinking water dispenser somewhere (not just for the spa area)

Everything was perfect

Everything! The staff is so nice! The beds feel like heaven. The decoration from the hotel is simple but beautiful. We had dinner at the restaurant Mômô and ir was delicious. Our 9 month old son was very welcome and treated very kind by all.

Romantic Hideaway

With its end of world location a half hour from the airport Sensi makes an alluring romantic getaway. Built around ancient stone farm ruins, the 20-room hotel is exquisitely designed with the owners' collection of South East Asian crafts and glass walls looking out to sea. The dinner was the best we had during our week touring the island (though the caesar salad at lunch was tasteless). On a rainy September weekend the outdoor pool was cool, but the 30 degree celsius indoor pool is yours alone for an hour by reservation. We indulged in one of the sexy big rooms with an ocean view, completely private terrace and its own heated dipping pool. I fantasize about coming back alone to work on a writing project by day and be taken care of by the wonderful staff at meal time. Or maybe I'll just fly over for four nights of indulgence with my guy.
